I would say to follow your attorney's advice though I don't think of any issues with going for premium processing as you are with the same employer. My friend has recently filed I-140 under regular processing and got approval within 2 1/2 months. Just make sure if your attorney submitted porting request while filing new I-140 under EB2. All the best.

We need to do some thing about it so that they dont repeat the same mistake again . Lets attach a message or real calculators along with flowers and start campign ..atleast we get the attention like we did in July 07

As per this link, there is premium processing for EAD. I think whoever needs immediate can take advantage of this instead of waitinf for months

Looking at the recent approvals looks like USCIS does the following:
1. Pick up x number of files using a random algorithm.
2. Arrange these files in a random order using the same random algorithm
followed in step 1.
3. Randomly pick any file arranged in step 2.
4. Toss a coin.
5. On odd dates if it is heads,approve the file. On even dates if it is tails
approve it.
6. If file is not approved in step 5 put it on the shelf to be picked up
in step 1 in next cycle.

Best thing would be to apply for EAD/AP about 6 months from now because bulk of the new workload will be concentrated in June, July and August filings and it might take 5-6 months for all of them to get EADs. same thing when time comes for renewals.
If someone applies EAD/AP 6 months from now, chances are he/she will be able to avoid the crowd and get it in 3 months.

There are lot of good/standard consulting companies ... Some are 'con' but they can't create massive impact , however the MNC's do MANIPULATION at a large scale.
I believe that small companies have a big impact too. As someone mentioned, check to see which companies filed GCs in the last 10 years....Infy, TCS or Small body shops?

One thing I fail to understand, instead of flower compaign why do not we go in for letter compaign. Write letter to DOS and USCIS with copies to members of the congress highlighting all their inefficiencies and inconsistencies. USCIS does not deserve flowers for what it has done to us and what it is doing to us. Do you get flowers and info pass appointment ? Does customer service speak nicely to you and give you right answers ? Do you give flowers to anybody who mistreats you in real life ? I know Munbai ...has impressed a lot but that was a movie. Have you ever realized what would have happened, had it not been a movie ? Things would not have moved at all.

Of all the wrongs in April VB +ve thing is EB3-I moved. It moved to the extent it moved last year (http://immigrationvoice.org/wiki/index.php/Past_Visa_Bulletin_Data).
So for EB3-Is take console on these

If I stay employed for 2-3 yrs on my spouse's LLC and bring 200K each year, is that established?
From the above paragraph (quoted on Murthy site), it seems that it would be very much possible to just get self-employed (of course job description should be same and legal).
But here are the Questions:
1). How will USCIS be convinced that the original job offer was really the intended employment at the time the I-140 and I-485 were filed??
2). How do you prove to USCIS that the original job offer was something that you intended to take on getting your GC?
From the below excerpt (same Murthy site and part of above doc)
