Such files that have undergone adjudicator review/FBI name and fingerprint as well as IBIS checks and are complete in all other respects but for visa# are now placed in separate area shelf for quickly assigning #'s, stamping, signing and ordering cards when PD is current for such petitions.
So the work of reviewing files goes roughly in FIFO order (that is based on RD) all round the year whether the bulletin says C, U, A, B or JAN01STONEAGE!

Not really h1b is a different track all together. If 485 is denied and the denial is final - person is still free to work till h1b expires thats why lawyers say h1b is safer
This is exactly my lawyer mentioned, AOS deined, you are still good to continue work (and wind up in USA) till your H1(i-94) expires. Hence, it is deemed as "safety". Person gets time to windup before the final bye-bye.

Is your case at NSC? I have definitely noticed a pattern of pre-adjudcation activity from NSC for cases filed in July-August 2007.
I noticed that too, especially if the PD is 2003 or 2004, both EB2 and EB3.

I totally agree..he was all ga ga abt what USCIS is doing and how efficently they have already processed 65% of available visa numbers for the fiscal.
Other than boasting how excellent USCIS is doing their job, there was nothing new or helpful to the actual bill. It was actually counter to the task at hand. That was Aytes...

So the smart senator will force more jobs to be outsourced. These jobs will never comeback once gone. If we look back at the 2000 recession, it caused a major shift in the way US companies looked at outsourcing. Pre-2000 many companies didn't believe that all jobs could be outsourced. 2000 recession forced them to think otherwise.
These kind of bills will cause a re-thinking in corporate america's thought process. They will think of creative ways to outsource. Against this senator's hopes, it will reduce jobs here.

Finally at last today the web site shows that my Labor is certified. I am really glad at it. PBEC has shown us the HELL on earth and though I am 43 years old, I feel like much older than that due these PBEC guys. They never realize that this is our biggest milestone.
My NOF was on Prevailing Wage as my pay was 65K and PBEC wanted to increase it to 87K. But our attorney's have submitted third party surveys and we have given up thinking that PBEC will not agree for it.
I know how hard it is to live without a status. I pray that PBEC guys releases every one from their HELL. Details are in my signature.
