My firm recently extended my H-3 training visa until June of 2008. The old one ran out at the beginning of November 2007 and I was told by my lawyer that I could stay in the country, that my status would be okay.
However, I left the country for a personal emergency and didn't have time to go to the consulate while I was away for a new stamp. The current visa in my passport had expired by this point.
Upon my re-entry to the country I filled out the green I-94w form.
What do I need to do to get my correct status? have I done anything to affect my H3 status??
Any advice greatly appreciated!!!

I am happy to report that the USCIS has approved the P-1B visa application that I filed on behalf of Superman is Dead (http://www.supermanisdead.net/), an Indonesian band, that will be appearing on Warped Tour �09 (http://www.warpedtour.com/warpedtour/index.asp).

hello all,
My H1 extension was filed with regular processing and I got RFE too.
My office has replied to RFE and as per tracking it is delivered today.
any guess about following -
Approx. after how many days USCIS update the status with "response" received?

Hi,
I need some urgent advise. My wife has got a Biometrics appointment notice for 8th Jan. She is in India currently and scheduled to return on 24th Jan. We have already got the appointment rescheduled once (original notice was for 1st Dec). When we got it rescheduled we asked them to give us the next appointment after 1stFeb, but they ignored that part!
I wanted to know can I get it rescheduled again? Will it have any impact on her 485 application? Do I need to enclose any cover letter explaining why i need to reschedule? Any personal experiences with rescheduling the appointment more than once?

When exporing new oppty's via AC21 with companies:
is it Ok to share copy of one's 140 or 485 document copies?
approval notice copies should be ok (check with company's HR if in doubt). However supporting financial/planning documents of a company may not be ok (that kind of stuff could be confidential to the company)

My husband got into the country through the Mariel port
immigration from Cuba in 1980 hes been in this country since then. Im a
US citizen we are legally married. The problem was that 20 years ago
when he was about to get is residency he got incarcerated and the
process was can canceled by the immigration office. About 4 or 5 years
ago he lost all of his papers he has no ID or any document that proves
his legal status. Which I think is not going to be any help anyways
because he never got a Visa number he did got a an alien number but of course he doesnt remember it so basically he is in paper limbo, because you need an ID to get an ID. He recently got his Cuban passport but now we find out that is basically useless. I been trying to get someone to please explain to me in this case what can we do? It seems that because he is Cuban and enter the country as a refugee almost 30 years ago no one can tell me for sure what will be the procedure in his case.
Please if there anybody that can help I would really appreciated

No it will not be changed to reflect that they have accepted your response. If they don't like your response then you will get another RFE issued status.

Most people have now heard about Stephen Colbert's testimony in front of the House Immigration Subcommittee this week on the subject of new laws for migrant farmworkers. Some have criticized the Committee for letting the comedian speak. I say, how high can the standards be if they let me testify? You should get to talk to USCIS coz this is wrong for sure......USCIS should issue you a new EAD with no additional cost.........Even if you do not plan to use EAD card get the issue fixed.......

- recently obtained a duplicate passport for my stolen passport, unfortunately also lost I-94 when received in Dec.08.
- Can I use the I-94 attached in the bottom of the I797? I won't have time to submit I102 and wait for replacement I-94.
- I've a trip coming very soon to Germany, last year had obtained the H1b stamping at US consulate in Germany, will it be ok if I apply for restamping at the same consulate because of time factor I'm not able to Canada or Mexico or India.
Any help and advise will be much appreciated. thanks !

Her GC sponsor is a software company and she will be applying as a computer programmer. Does anyone have experience with this kind of Labor Certification situation ? Thank you for any help.

My company filed a new PERM application recently. I have a EB3 I-140 approved from my old employer ( Approved in August 2009). My attorney had filed the new PERM and requested to capture the same date. Will this cause any problems? Below is the question that is asked in ETA9089 form.
1. Are you seeking to utilize the filing date from a previously submitted application for Alien Employment Certification (ETA 750) ?
