i recently got H1 Extension stamping ( Till 2011 ) and also have AP Expires in Nov 2008 .
I am working on H1 and not interested to use EAD .Do i still need to renew my EAD and AP?

just a tip not cool to hijack someone else' thread. on your question: If you are planning on being with the H1 sponsoring employer for the next few years no point renewing your EAD or AP. However they are two seperate filings. You don't need to have a valid EAD in order to apply for an AP renewal or vice versa. Hope this helps.

Hi All,
Would like to know if anyone has any H1B extensions approved/RFE's/denied (whether regular or premium processing) after the January 8 USCIS memo. Please indicate whether full-time or consultant.
I applied for H1B extension - receipt date December 23rd, 2009. Upgraded to premium on January 21, 2010 (Jan 21 date updated in case status on USCIS website). Working as full-time - (empoloyer is not into consulting), Extension is for 3 years beyond 6 years, I-140 approved.
Also, anyone know how long does it take these days for extensions under Premium processing to be approved.

I tried calling Nebraska Service Center using the 1-800 number and then entering the POJ options. But it seems USCIS has a new system in place and there's no way to reach the Service Center anymore.
Looks like they ended another means of communication---no more POJ? Please correct me, if someone knows the new options. Thanks!

Could anyone throw some light on this...
i now finished school and I have a course completion letter from the school but I ma formally taking the walk in May.So i don't have an official degree yet.
I have to apply for a H1B visa Could I apply for a H1B on a masters quota with the course completion letter .I have heard yes but I needed confirmation with respect to this.
And If I don't get a H1B visa will my application slide to the Bachelors quota automatically(does this depend on the course completion letter that I have submitted?)??
My other doubt being since my company is not e verified what are my other options if I dont get a H1B visa???
Could you please throw light on all these matters?? I would be obliged if i can understand the answers to all these queries.

I received a RFE of my I485, and was asked to declare my self-employment since Dec,31, 2006. I have been engaged in Market America Direct Sell business at part-time since August 26, 2005, and have claimed buinsess lost in my wife and my joint tax return since 2005. In 2006, I got a 1099 form that showed $600 income from Market America. After that I didn't have any income from the business.
My last entry into USA is 07/05/2008, but the I-94 was not replaced at Niagara Falls port. The last entry date on my passport is still Dec, 31, 2006. My EAD start date is 7/31/2008.
Does any have similar case? Please advise. Any help is appreciated.

Hi everyone
I just got off the phone with USCIS and I thought I should share this with you. I received an appointment notice regarding fingerprints (for 10/20/07) and I called USCIS to ask if I can reschedule it for an earlier date. They said that I could go to the local application support center (the same location that is on the appointment notice) any Wednesday and ask for service at that time. That way I don't have to wait 3.5 weeks just to get the fingerprints taken and I'll probably get my EAD by then.
I hope this works out for me.
If anybody had such experience, please share.

I got a soft LUD on my 485 on 06/03/08 and same on my wife's 485. I am the principle applicant. I called Customer service center and they said the only update they see is that I have updated my address on file in January or 2008. I asked her what could be the reason for LUD on my case to that she replied that since the NSC processing date is past my filing date she can create a Service Request for me. I have done that but I am still concerned what the cause of this LUD is . Does anyone know why there would be a soft LUD.
MY priority date 02/13/03 is current now. Sorry I dont have other details of my case.
